From City to the World 2019 CCNY Year of Film
This episode of From City to the World celebrates 2019 as CCNY’s Year of Film. Guests are two professors from CCNY’s film department—Jerry Carlson and Dave Davidson, whose film Cinema & Sanctuary about Hans Richter (the school’s first director) and the Film Institute at CCNY will be screened at the Walter Reade Theater at Lincoln Center on June 20, 2019. On the second half of the show President Boudreau talks to documentarian, Stanley Nelson who graduated from CCNY’s film department in 1976.

He also discusses the role of doulas in combating the crisis with Chanel Porchia-Albert, founder of Ancient Song Doula Services. The show was recorded in front of Professor Villarosa's Race & Media class.
