SHOW DESCRIPTION:

The New York City Commission on Human Rights is the city agency that protects New Yorkers from discrimination in employment, housing, and public accommodations. The Commission is charged with enforcing the city’s Human Rights Law, one of the broadest civil rights laws in the nation prohibiting discrimination against over 25 protected categories such as race, age, gender, gender identity, and sexuality.

This show features Commission staff discussing different facets of the city’s Human Rights Law and answering questions New Yorkers have about discrimination in the workplace, housing spaces, and public spaces.
