Harlem has lost another hero. Former State Senator and City Councilmember Bill Perkins passed away on May 16, 2023 at the age of 74. Our prayers go out to his family.
His homegoing services are as follows:
On Wednesday May 24th from 3PM-8PM there will be a viewing at First Corinthian Baptist Church. The church is located at 1912 Adam Clayton Powell Blvd at 116th St.
On Thursday May 25th there will be a Final Viewing and Service at First Corinthian Baptist Church.
The Final Viewing is at 9AM
The Service is at 11AM
The Repast will be held from 2PM-5PM at Harlem Tavern, located at 2153 8th Avenue near 116th St.
